The ramps and
bicycle racks swing around a central ‘forest patio’ – the lively green heart of
the volume. Because of its substantial surface, this patio acts as a central
cooling island. It keeps the temperature under control, contributes to the
water management on site and benefits the air quality of the dense urban area.
The designated seeds and plants are future-proof, being resistant to strong
climatic fluctuations.
